265 new cases of coronavirus recorded in Hungary

Some 265 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in Hungary yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 821,526, according to data from koronavirus.gov.hu.

A total of eight patients died yesterday, bringing the number of coronavirus deaths in Hungary to 30,179.

The number of cured patients rose to 783,815, while the number of active cases rose to 7,532.

Some 513 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 74 of them require ventilation.

The total number of people vaccinated is 5,881,493, of whom 5,635,553 have already received their second vaccination. About 725,000 people have already received their third vaccination.
