36 residential projects launched outside the capital

There were 36 residential development projects launched in major cities outside the capital in the first quarter, 24% more than in the same period a year earlier, real estate broker Otthon Centrum said on Friday, according to mfor.hu.
New housing prices in counties and towns with populations over 50,000 rose 10% to HUF 661,000 per square meter during the period, Otthon Centrum said.
Prices were highest in Debrecen (225 km east of Budapest), the country’s second largest city, at HUF 871,000 per square meter.
