Lorant Szabo was fishing in a lake in Hungary when the incident occurred.

It looks like we’ve finally got our hands on a rendition of the classic Moby-Dick story in Hungary. But it is a real incident that took place in Somogy County. A video posted to YouTube shows a man named Lorant Szabo who went fishing at Harsasberki Lake on a bright June day. Only, it didn’t turn out very well for him. He is seen waiting with his fishing rod when a fish pulls on it. He jumps up and tries to pull it to the banks. But eventually, he himself falls into the lake.

Mr. Szabo has been fishing at the lake since he was a child. However, as he waited for a good catch that day, a huge catfish pulled on the bait. Within moments, Mr. Szabo lost control of his fishing line and the cord sort of cut under the wires and he could no longer pull on the brakes. This is how he was pulled by the fish that staggered in the water.

The incident was filmed and was previously published by Mr Szabo that month. It didn’t take long to go viral on the internet. In the legend of video on own channelI, Mr. Szabo wrote that he struggled for an hour to find his fishing rod in this lake.

Now the last one quotes Mr. Szabo’s explanation, “The line got stuck, so the huge fish pulled me into the water. Later I managed to catch, it was 66 kg . ” It was indeed a good catch, Mr. Szabo.

Did the video entertain its viewers? Of course he has. One person commented on the hilarious catfish point of view: “Fish: Hey buddy, I wanna take a ride. Another person reflected, “I guess it was a giant Wells catfish.” A viewer also made a suggestion: “Looks like he lost his rod and the fish. Never let go of the rod.”

One viewer wrote with a taunt, “Who fishes who.” Another person came up with a perfect phrase to describe Mr. Szabo’s plight and commented: “I got caught in a cat”.

We will say Mr. Szabo was lucky it was just a catfish in a lake in the county. Earlier we had seen an alligator sneak up on a group of friends who had gone fishing in a lake in Florida.

The video showed a massive alligator appearing out of nowhere while the friends were busy teaching a small fish.
