House prices in Hungary have doubled since 2010

House prices in Hungary have increased 109% since 2010, reports MTI, citing data compiled by Eurostat.
Hungary was one of three European Union member states in which house prices doubled during the period. House prices increased by 133% in Estonia and 111% in Luxembourg.
House prices across the EU have increased by 34%.
Rental rates for housing in Hungary increased by 44% over the period, well above the 16% average for the EU as a whole.
Rents increased the most in Estonia (142%), Lithuania (109%) and Ireland (66%).
