House rental rates in Hungary drop 5.5% in March

Rental rates for homes in Hungary fell 5.5% year over year in March, according to data compiled by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) based on listings from Ingatlan.com .
Annualized rental rates have fallen every month since last April as demand plummeted due to the coronavirus crisis.
Rents in the capital are down 7.3%.
The monthly rent for an apartment in the capital was on average 156,000 HUF in the second half of last year.
