Poland is an attractive country for international hoteliers – The First News

Warsaw has advanced in the 2021 ranking of the most attractive markets to second place, just behind Prague.

A total of 60% of international hotel operators are ready to invest in Poland, according to a recent study by a global commercial real estate services company.

Besides the capital Warsaw and the city of Krakow in southern Poland, Gdańsk in the north of the country, Łódź in central Poland and Katowice in southeastern Poland have also attracted increasing interest from hotel operators. international. Cushman & Wakefield wrote in a report “Hospitality Operator Beat Q4 2021”.

Prague, Warsaw, Budapest, Krakow and Bucharest are the top five markets for hotel operators in Central and Eastern Europe.

Warsaw has advanced in the 2021 ranking of the most attractive markets to second place, just behind Prague.

Overall, more than 80% of operators were willing to expand to Warsaw, and around 67% would consider Krakow, according to the report.

“Poland is considered by major hotel operators to be the strongest and most desirable market in the entire CEE region,” said Łukasz Bondyra of Cushman & Wakefield.

The survey included representatives from the 30 largest international hotel operators.
